ScraperAPI, founded in 2018 and part of the saas.group portfolio, sells a scraping API that also runs as a proxy port. Plans come in monthly credits: a standard request uses 1 credit and its premium residential and mobile pool uses 10. It rotates IPs, retries and handles CAPTCHAs, charges only successful requests, and in 2026 said it had acquired Traject Data, maker of Rainforest API and SerpWow.

Pricing details

  • Monthly plans: Hobby $49 (100K credits, 20 threads), Startup $149 (1M, 50), Business $299 (3M, 100), Scaling $475 (5M, 200), Professional $975 (10.5M, 300), Advanced $1,975 (21.5M, 500)
  • Yearly billing is 10% off: $44.10, $134.10, $269.10, $427.50, $877.50 and $1,777.50 per month billed annually; Enterprise (22M+ credits, 500+ threads) is custom
  • Credit costs: standard request 1, premium residential/mobile 10, JS rendering 10, premium + rendering 25, ultra premium 30 (75 with rendering, paid plans only), Cloudflare/DataDome/PerimeterX bypass 10

Trial & refunds

A free plan gives 1,000 API credits a month with up to 5 concurrent connections, and new accounts get 5,000 credits for their first 7 days, with no card required. The premium residential/mobile pool is documented as available to paid users, and ultra premium only on paid plans. The pricing FAQ and terms allow a refund request within 7 days of the first purchase (not renewals); after that fees are not refunded.
