About Working Proxy Sites
Working Proxy Sites is a simple message board for comparing proxy providers. Most "best proxy" lists are written once and never updated. Here, every provider gets a thread where people who actually use it can post what works, what doesn't, and what changed.
How the ranking works
- Each provider thread has a community score: recommendations minus "don't recommend" votes. Each connection gets one vote per provider, and voting needs a quick, privacy-friendly proof-of-work check (no tracking CAPTCHA).
- When scores are tied — including at launch, when everything starts at zero — providers fall back to a staff ordering based on product range, pricing transparency and how established the provider is.
- A provider marked Featured has been placed at the top by the site operators and is always labelled. See our disclosure.
- We reset scores when we find vote manipulation.
Where provider details come from
The opening post of each provider thread is written by staff from the provider's own website — prices, advertised pool sizes, locations, protocols and trial terms. These are the provider's claims, not our measurements, and they change often. Each card shows when it was last checked. If something is out of date, reply in the thread or post in Site Feedback.
